[Ideasta projektiksi]

From Idea into Project
A handbook for planning a transnational education and training project

Planning a project and applying for funding is a long process with many phases. The aim of this handbook - From Idea into Project - is
  • to provide information about key points of educational projects,
  • to give tools to help plan a successful project and
  • to give advise how to draw up a successful application.

The handbook is intended for people who plan to participate in transnational projects to develop education and training either as a project coordinator or a project partner. It approaches project planning from the point of view of pilot projects of the European Union’s Leonardo da Vinci programme. However, the general points of the guide can be applied to any types of projects.

The first edition of the handbook was originally written for Finnish Leonardo projects. It is to be noticed that, even if the general rules and regulations are the same within the Leonardo programme in all of Europe, there might still be some slight national variations. It is important to consider that, you should always check the most important financial and administrative rules from your own national agency.
