Methods and Tools for Effective Dissemination

A Guide to the Dissemination of the Results of International Educational Projects

Innovations and improvements in education and training are important for improving employment and competitiveness in Europe. For real, long-lasting impact these results need to be disseminated widely and effectively. The professionals working in European projects developing education and training activities are in a key role. They need to learn how to reach potential users effectively, how to market the results of their projects - and how to learn together with other professionals.

The guidebook Methods and Tools for Effective Dissemination has been produced to help those who are working on European education and training projects, as well as support organizations, national authorities and policy makers, to make better use of the project results. It introduces the "Dissemination Wheel" with five practical tools that have been designed to assist projects in the dissemination process - from capturing the essence of the project and prioritizing activities to developing a detailed dissemination plan and monitor its implementation.

The book gives an in-depth description of their theoretical background and practical advice for their use. Case studies from a number of European Leonardo and Socrates projects illustrate the use of the tools and provide examples of effective dissemination practices.

The guidebook Methods and Tools for Effective Dissemination has been prepared with the financial support of the European Communities.
